Sakinat Al-Wafa — bilingual Umrah & travel website

Bilingual web presence (English + Arabic RTL) for a Gulf-facing travel agency — Umrah packages, tours, visa services, and hotel bookings — designed specifically for a Muslim, Arabic-speaking audience across KSA and UAE.

The challenge

Sakinat Al-Wafa needed a web presence that genuinely spoke to a Muslim, Arabic-speaking audience across KSA and UAE — covering Umrah packages, tours, visa services, and hotel bookings — in both English and Arabic, not as an afterthought.

What I built

Designed and built a fully bilingual site in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a proper Arabic RTL layout. Typography, spacing, navigation, and content hierarchy were each considered and implemented independently for both language directions.

The outcome

A web presence that's culturally appropriate and practically usable for the target audience — serving Umrah seekers, tour bookers, and visa applicants across the Gulf in the language they're most comfortable with.

Outcome

EN + AR — bilingual RTL

KSA & UAE — audience

Umrah — specialist

2025 — shipped
